Recipe: Follicular Phase Hormone Balancing Bites (seed cycling series)

The yummiest bites to promote happy, healthy hormones! The ingredients in this recipe all work to balance hormones and restore your bodies natural menstrual cycle.

Estrogen is the dominant hormone in the first half of the menstrual cycle (the follicular phase). Estrogen is involved in follicle maturation and development of the uterine lining.

These bites have key hormone balancing ingredients such as flax seeds and pumpkin seeds. These seeds are made of lignans which contain phytoestrogen compounds and decrease the risk of chronic hormonal imbalances. Women who consume a diet rich in phytoestrogens have been found to decrease their chances of developing breast cancer.

The Vitality Bar by: Beauty Bar Chocolate contains powerful superfoods and adaptogens that also help stabilize hormone levels.
